Garment and textile ERP for India
Karpan ERP is ERP software for Indian garment makers, fabric and processing units, and job-work houses. It is built and supported by UiSlick in Jaipur, priced in rupees, and follows the way work really moves between units in India.

One order, many units.
In India, very few garments are made under one roof. A knitwear order may go from the yarn supplier to a knitter, then a dyer, a compacting unit, a printer and a stitching unit before it is packed. Fabric is sent out and comes back in bales and thans, with some loss at every step.
That is why the job work book matters as much as the stock book. Karpan ERP keeps both: lot-wise stock in your stores, and stock lying with each job worker, lot by lot, with the loss and cost of every process.
Karpan is used through a web browser and is priced per factory in Indian rupees. Read the full workflow on garment manufacturing ERP or textile manufacturing ERP.
What fits the Indian way of working.
Job work chains
Job worker orders, lot issue (oldest first), receive back with loss, and stock lying with each job worker.
Job work management →Bales, thans and vendor lots
Split every receipt into bale/than numbers and vendor lots. Each lot has its own history in Lot 360.
Lot-wise inventory →HSN, SAC and GSTIN
HSN codes on items, SAC codes on processes and GSTIN on parties. Purchase orders work out CGST + SGST or IGST from the HSN rate and the states.
Transport and e-way bill details
Note transporter and e-way bill number on goods receipts and on material issues to job workers and production.
Financial-year numbering
Document numbers can restart each financial year (for example WO/26-27/0001), or daily, monthly or never.
Export orders
Choose the currency on each sale order, and enter quantities by style, size and colour.
Garment order management →Know what is still with your job workers.
Under GST, inputs you send to a job worker without paying tax are expected to come back within a time limit (one year for inputs, three years for capital goods), and the movement is reported in Form ITC-04.
Karpan’s Jobworker Stock report shows, for each job worker and item, what was issued, what came back and what is still pending, with the issue number, date and lot. That is the information your accountant needs. Karpan does not file ITC-04 or any GST return; you do that in your GST or accounting software.
Rules change, so check the current GST rules with your tax adviser.
Where Karpan fits in India’s textile hubs.
Tiruppur
Knitwear and export garments. Yarn and fabric move through knitting, dyeing, compacting, printing and stitching job workers. Karpan follows each lot through that chain and keeps the loss of every step.
Job work →Surat
Weaving and fabric processing. Grey fabric comes in by bale and than, goes out for dyeing, printing and finishing, and comes back shorter. Karpan keeps lots, process loss and the cost per metre.
Textile ERP →Ludhiana
Knitwear and woollens with many styles, sizes and colours each season. Karpan’s size and colour grids, BOM by size and job work fit this work.
Order management →Delhi NCR (Noida, Gurugram, Okhla)
Export garment houses with buyer orders, size and colour breakups and many outside units. Order Review 360 and order profit and loss show where each order stands.
Garment ERP →Jaipur
Hand block, screen and digital printing and dyeing, much of it done by job workers. Karpan tracks fabric lots sent to printers and dyers. Jaipur is also home to the Karpan team.
Job work →Bengaluru and Mumbai
Large garment units and powerloom weaving around Bhiwandi. Karpan supports several units and stores in one system, with branch-wise data.

Indian businesses usually ask us these first.

- Accounting: Karpan is not accounting software and does not connect to Tally or other accounting packages today. Keep your books in your current software.
- Payroll and attendance: not included.
