Most garment factories in Vietnam work for overseas buyers. Some orders are CMT (cut, make, trim), where the buyer supplies the fabric. Others are FOB, where the factory buys fabric and trims itself. Either way, one order means many sizes and colours, work spread across cutting, sewing and finishing, and often a subcontractor for printing, embroidery or washing.
